The purpose of this registry is to support the breeding community and to assist breeders and owners in the work of selecting, maintaining and developing the Pocket Beagle.

There are two levels of registration within the Pocket Beagle Registry.  Dogs registered in other recognized registries with at least 3 generations of vertifiable parentage qualify for Full Registration.

Registries that area currently recognized by the Pocket Beagle Registry are the American Kennel Club (AKC), the United Kennel Club (UKC), the Continental Kennel Club  and the Canadian Kennel Club. Puppies and dogs  may be registered from parents from different recognized breed registries.

Dogs with one registered parent and small pocket beagles without papers may qualify for Limited Registration.  DNA testing may be necessary.
